Matthew specialises in representing corporate borrowers on all aspects of their debt financing work. He delivers value to clients through commercially focussed, technically expert advice and insightful judgment, informed by his experience of acting for lenders, borrowers, arrangers and sponsors through all stages of the business cycle.
Matthew’s borrower clients benefit from his experience and insights gained in having previously represented most of the major Australian and foreign banks and investment banks active in the Australian market, including ANZ, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, Macquarie Bank, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Societe Generale, ABN AMRO and ING, as well as a range of ASX listed and private companies.
Matthew has consistently been recognised by Chambers Global and The Legal 500 as one of Australia’s leading banking and finance lawyers.
