He advises owners, operators, investors, financiers, developers and contractors on complex project contracts and transactions, provides astute guidance on project governance and risk, and is a steady hand in working with government and regulatory agencies. Stephen has contributed to many pioneering projects in Australia and internationally, including, for example, innovative contract structures for desalination plants, for recycled water schemes, for acquiring and restructuring a toll road PPP, and for managing the interface between multiple contractors constructing the various packages of a major refinery and petrochemical complex. His approach to working with clients is informed by experience as General Counsel for leading organisations, and he is Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.
