He advises media and technology companies in relation to defamation, privacy, legislative restrictions, broadcast regulation, copyright, contractual matters and trade practices. He advises on general commercial litigation matters in various courts and tribunals. Kevin also advises clients in the tertiary and training sector in these dealings with regulatory bodies. Kevin has extensive in-house experience. Whilst Acting Corporate Counsel at a commercial television network, he advised General Counsel and executives on matters related to intellectual property, contracts, litigation, legislative compliance, privacy, transactions and human resources. Asia Pacific Legal 500 2017 identified Kevin as a Leading Lawyer in Media and Entertainment, describing him as an "outstanding lawyer for defamation and contempt matters". In 2013 Kevin was profiled in Lawyer's Weekly as one of the "senior heavyweights in media law". He is a member of the Communication and Media Lawyers Association and International Media Lawyers Association. Kevin has published on media and technology subjects including in LexisNexis Internet Law Bulletin and Privacy Law Bulletin. He presented a paper on 'Libel Tourism' at the New York State Bar Association Fall Conference.
