Stuart heads Werksmans’ Intellectual Property Practice and specialises in all aspects of intellectual property (IP) law and related matters. This includes IP litigation, trade mark registration, unlawful competition, passing off, copyright, designs, licensing and IP commercial transactions. He has been recognised as a leading IP lawyer in several international rankings. Stuart holds a B.luris from the University of the Free State, an LLB from the University of South Africa, an LLM from Cambridge University, an MA (cum laude) from the University of Stellenbosch and an LLD from the University of South Africa.
